Music

Chancel Choir

The CHANCEL CHOIR is the adult choir at Trinity. This dedicated group practices every Wednesday evening from 7:30 to 9:15 p.m. and sings most often for the 11:00 a.m. worship service on Sundays. They sing a wide variety of music, ranging from "music for the masters" to contemporary. Twice a year, they present special music such as a cantata, for both worship services, as well as services for Christmas Eve, Holy Week and other special events. The Chancel Choir maintains a special ministry (Gerry's Voices) of singing hymns of faith to hospice patients at bedside.

Cherub Choir

The Cherubs are the youngest of the choirs with children ages four through first grade. The Cherubs also practice on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. and sing for worship about once per month. They learn the basics of singing in a group and sharing their music with the congregation. The Cherubs also sing for a retirement center twice during the year.

Trinity Choristers

Children in grades two through five comprise the Trinity Choristers. They sing for worship services about once per month and practice on Wednesdays from 6:30 till 7:15 p.m. The Choristers learn the fundamentals of singing and at times, have experiences playing Orff instruments and recorders. Twice during the year, they sing for retirement centers and every other year in the springtime, they present a musical for both worship services.

Youth Choir

The Youth Choir is a group of young people in grades six through twelve who love to sing and play instruments, too. There is a place for everyone and many talents in this choir. They practice on Wednesays from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., just following the mid-week fellowship. The Youth Choir sings for worship services about once per month as well as special services such as Youth Sunday and the 11:00 p.m. Candlelight Service on Christmas Even.
"Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands: Sing forth the honour of his name: make his praise glorious."

Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
Ephesians 5:19-21
