The Food Teams fill the short-term food needs of congregational members when there is a birth, death, illness, or other request.

If you would like to be part of the Food Teams call the church office. Or if you know of someone who could use the help of a Food Team, contact the church office, 972-539-0514, and let Sue know how we can help.

Touched by Suicide

TBS Support Group meets every second and fourth Thursday at 7pm at Trinity Presbyterian Church.
  • Why did my loved one or friend complete suicide?
  • Why didn't my loved one or friend tell me how he felt and why didn't I know?
  • What happens now? What kind of feelings or emotions can I expect?
  • What can I do to help me and my family deal with these feelings?
  • Will it ever get better, will we ever feel differently?
We are sorry for your loss. We are Survivors of a Loved One's Suicide (also called Suicide Survivors). We also lost someone we loved to suicide. We are here to help you and to let you know that other sources of help are available if or when you need or want them.

For more information call Sue Endsley, 972-539-0514 or email admin@tpcfm.org.

Prayer Circle

The Prayer Circle is comprised of congregational members who wish to provide intercessory prayer for others.

This committee consists of daytime and evening prayer circles and requests for prayer are made through the church office, 972-539-0514.

Ride Care

Ride Care would like to offer rides to church on Sunday to the residents of Flower Mound Assisted Living, which is on Morriss Road near the Methodist Church.

Of course, in order to do this we need volunteer drivers. If you would be able to pick up a resident, take him or her to church, then return to the assisted living facility, please contact the church office.

Stephen Ministry

We are a Stephen Ministry Congregation. This is a program of training lay members to be actively present to provide support for individuals during times of stress and crisis. This ministry has great potential for members to share with one another in meaningful ways in a one-to-one setting.

What Is The Stephen Ministry?
  • A special ministry in which one Christian reaches out to another in time of need.
  • An opportunity to reach out to others: the lonely, the depressed, the inactive, the bereaved, new people in town, those hospitalized and convalescing, the divorced, the aged.
  • An on-going helping relationship with dependability, and confidentiality.
  • A meaningful way for our church to use more fully our many talents in sharing one anotherී;s burdens and joys.

Who are Stephen Ministers?
  • Lay men and women from our congregation who have developed their gifts for bringing the concern and care of Christී;s community to people in need.
  • People who come from all walks of life, age ranges, and backgrounds.
  • Caring and wharing Christians desiring to offer their help/support to others in time of need.
  • Trained Christians - having developed their helping skills through intensive coursework.
  • Dedicated Christians - commissioned by our church to confidential caring.

...When You or Someone You Know is Hurting

...How to Request or Make a Referral -

How Do I Request A Stephen Minister?
  • Call the church office and ask to have a Stephen Leader call you.
  • When making a referral, you need not give details about the reason for the referral. Just report the need.
Stephen Ministers are extremely descreet and value confidentiality.

Hospital Baskets

Being in the hospital can be a scary place. The Deacons would like to make it just a bit easier. Along with a visit, we would like to have on hand a hospital goodie basket.

This basket will be filled with snacks, reading materials and most importantly, a visual reminder that our prayers are with them.

We are asking for donations from the congregation. When you are at the store and see something that would be a nice addition to the basket, such as crackers, cookies, gum, etc, bring it in and market it ";hospital basket";. We have a space designated just for this purpose.

There is no wrong item when you are doing a good thing. Please contact your Deacon if you have questions.
